Maths Quiz
Dear Parent/Carer,
Thank you to those who have volunteered to chaperone the maths group to Oxford on 3 July, Monday. As more than one person have volunteered, the school chose the name from the hat. Sasha’s dad will be part of the group with myself to take the children on their journey to Oxford and back. As a few of you have expressed interest to come to watch the children during their quiz, these are the details of our journey:
- Arrive to school at normal time
- After 9:30 East Croydon to Farringdon
- Farringdon to Paddington via Elizabeth Line
- 11:23 – 12:17 Paddington to Oxford by gwr
- Packed lunch and walk in Oxford
- 3:30 – 4:30 Quiz
- 18:02 – 18:56 Oxford to Paddington by gwr
- Paddington to Farringdon via Elizabeth Line
- Farringdon to East Croydon appx 19:30 – 20:00 at EC Main Station by the ticket office
The school will take care of the tickets for the group, including the teacher and the chaperone. If you would like to travel there as well, please refer to the times above to let you know what tickets have been booked for the trip. Also you will need to purchase a ticket £8+VAT for the Oxford Examination schools. Please confirm that you are planning to attend, so I can reserve the ticket for you. You will have to pay for it on receipt.
