Online Safety Week

The school celebrated Online Safety Week and took part in the global ‘Safer Internet Day’ on Tuesday 7th February.  The theme for this year has been, ‘Making space for conversations about life online.’  We linked this theme to Children’s Mental Health Awareness week and their ‘Let’s Connect’ message to remind our children of the importance of discussing our worries and concerns with trusted adults.  The Digital Leaders and School Council began the week by leading an assembly for the school.  Each year group then undertook some activities to explore and reinforce the key messages.  The children have produced some very thoughtful work and I look forward to sharing their efforts on the school website after the half term.
